We follow all COVID-19 safety policies required by the State of Washington:
Wash hands often. I wash my hands before and after each client. I use the paper towel to open and close the doors into the clinic. I have set up the bathroom with a garbage can on each side of the door so you can use your paper towel to close the door after washing them. I have sanitizing wipes in the bathroom to make you feel comfortable about using the bathroom. (I am wiping down the bathroom in the middle and at the end of each day with a bleach solution).
Physical distancing and Masking: Which is hard in any body worker’s practice. I will ensure to the best of my ability to make sure I remain as germ free as possible. I will always wear an N-95 or KN-95 mask while I’m working with clients. If I am working on the upper body and neck I will additionally wear a second layer of mask or a face shield for added protection.
If you feel more comfortable, I also have gloves at the office that I can wear in addition to frequent hand washing.
Cleaning all surfaces: I am using less sheets and fewer pillows per client: opting for my bolsters, etc. I can wipe down with sanitizing wipes. Of course, linens get changed after each client. The table, chairs, my phone, armoir, etc. gets wiped down after each client. So there may be a little lag btwn clients (I may start spacing appts out a little further out). I have sanitizing wipes by the chair outside the office, and in the heated room to the left of my office.
If you don’t want to touch the bell to let me know you are here, make sure you stand in front of the camera (WAVE!) outside my door. The motion detector will chime to let me know you are here.
Vaccination: As of January 28th I have already received my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and will have my second round of the vaccine on February 11th.
Travel Policies: For patients who are traveling please do not schedule an appointment until you have been home for a minimum of 5 days. After travel, if you are experiencing any COVID symptoms please receive a negative test before attending your next appointment.
If I travel, I will self isolate and test before coming back to the clinic.
As you know, if you are sick, coughing, not feeling well, please do not come in. I have been self isolating to keep me, my family, and YOU safe, so that I can be here for you. Of course, I will do the same. Please contact me so I can direct you in what you should be doing.
